All our vocational consultants have at least 20 years post degree experience, with additional vocational rehabilitation training. They have completed additional training to a high level of competency to ensure their practice is relevant and of excellent standard additionally all are members of Vocational Rehabilitation Association UK.

Lynne Atkinson

BA(Hons), Mbps, MVRA

Vocational Case Manager


Lynne has extensive vocational experience in developing and delivering rehabilitation services for Individuals with life changing injuries. With 20 years’ experience across the voluntary, statutory and private sectors she has in depth knowledge of management systems, developing and providing training, delivering 1:1 rehabilitation and support.

 

Lynne assists people with brain injuries and neurological disorders to understand what has happened to them, why they are struggling with returning “to normal life”. She provides psycho-education and strategies to deal with symptoms and help them move forward with improved confidence and positivity.

 

As an employment expert Lynne has experience of preparing reports for the court to assist with personal injury settlement.

Susanne Crichton BSc OT

Vocational Case Manager


A highly skilled health care professional with over 30 years’ experience working in rehabilitation teams. Susanne is currently a Specialist Occupational Therapy Practitioner in Vocational Rehabilitation, a Disability Management Case Manager and Workplace Mediator. She has a wide range of clinical expertise including Functional Capacity Evaluation, complex disability case management, transferable skills analysis and workplace assessment.

 

Susanne has led the delivery of multiple Scottish Government and Department of Work and Pensions Health and Work Programmes and ensures key performance indicators are met alongside high quality evidence based service delivery. She is a regular visiting lecturer at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh delivering training and support to the Occupational Therapy Programme.

Lewis MacAulay BSc (Hons) 

Social Work 

Rehabilitation Assistant


Lewis works as a social worker within statutory services. He has extensive experience of working with children, young people and adults who have complex needs. Lewis has skills in therapeutic counselling, motivational interviewing and strength-based practice to support individuals impacted by trauma. As a holistic practitioner he works creatively to provide meaningful person-centred interventions. Lewis has experience of work within a school for children with disabilities in addition to work with children and young adults in residential care. Physical education is a knowledge base which Lewis brings to his practice to support individuals to develop positive coping strategies. 

Jenna Quinn BSc (Hons), PGDip, BABCP (Accred)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapist



Jenna Quinn is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist.


Her experience ranges from children, adolescents and adults. She has experience of working with mild-severe disorders such as, social anxiety disorder, depression, low self-esteem, complex anxiety, OCD, addictions and emotional regulation problems.



Jenna has worked with in both NHS and private sector settings, across a variety of different needs. This has shaped her approach and developed an open and integrative approach to CBT. She continues to work on a part time basis as the clinical Lead within the general adult psychiatry programme at the Priory Hospital in Glasgow.


As an accredited member of the BABCP Jenna abides by their policies and ethical standards.
